Ake Green was caught under similar laws in Sweden.

For many years The Christian Institute opposed a religious hatred law because of the dangers to free speech; we oppose a 'homophobic hatred' law for the same reason.

The story of Ake Green illustrates how such a law can severely restrict religious liberty. He was convicted under a similar law in Sweden, simply for preaching a biblical sermon on homosexuality. You can hear his story in his own words by watching the video below.
