  Summary: A Christian University successfully sued after its teacher training status was rescinded because its policy stated that homosexuality was wrong.
  
  
• Jacqui Griffin v. The Catholic Education Office. Report of the Australian Human Rights and Equal Opportunity Commission.
  Summary: The Catholic Church lost this case. The Commission decided that the Church should employ a lesbian rights activist since, in its view, it was not “inconsistent “ with Catholic belief. The Church refused to comply with the ruling. The Commission has no legal enforcement powers in this case.
